The Missisippi Model Youth Transition Innovation (MYTI) is a national Social Security demonstration project designed to assist young people to become employed through transition interventions from school to work, thereby reducing reliance on public benefits. The Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services (MDRS) is the sponsoring agency for this project.

Approximately 185 students will be served in an intensive effort with local educational partners, the Jackson County and Harrison County School Districts, and other employment partners, such as the WIN Job Center, a part of the local workforce board. Other partner agencies are the Mississippi Division of Medicaid, and the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA).
