Space for the Discovery “Gateway” Training is limited to 25 slots.

The Discovery Retreat will be open to anyone who has been to a MG&A training on Discovery, Job Development or Systematic Instruction, either as a Gateway or one of our training sessions not associated with certification.  Prior attendance at one of our retreats is not required for attending this year's retreat.

The 2018 Retreat will offer two focus areas:

Discovery:  This group will provide anyone who has attended a past retreat, a training on Discovery (offered by MG&A) or is certified in any of MG&A’s three areas.  There will be the opportunity to discuss an array of second and third generation topics related to the facilitation of Discovery.  The agenda will be flexible with opportunities for both large and small group discussion.  Participants will determine the majority of topics to be addressed in an opening activity hosted by Randy Dicks, the group leader.

Certification: This group will focus on general aspects of MG&A’s performance-based certification as well as discuss a new certificate-based, “hybrid” training that might serve to take our state-level certification contracts “to scale”.  This option is open to MG&A associates and current mentors for all areas of certification.  Others interested in this area of focus may request participation by contacting Teresa Callahan, group leader.  The interactions will include large and small group discussions, product development and opportunities for each certification area – Discovery, Job Development and Systematic Instruction/Job Coaching to have break-out time for development and connecting.

Space for the Discovery Retreat is limited to 45 slots.
